Following our decision to install Solar energy at our property, we initially narrowed our search to 2 companies. Then by chance came across a video of a LET Renewables instillation and after a general enquiry it became clear that we had found the right team. Firstly we appreciated that LET Renewables is a local company and that our first conversation was directly with Lewis, the company director rather than a salesman. Within days Keiran the electrician visited our property to carry out a full site inspection and survey, answering all our questions and explaining what to expect during the installation. Lewis then provided us with a tailor made package designed specifically for our needs. A week later Daisy contacted us with an instillation date and here we now have a fully functioning system delivering impressive performance. From start to finish the service has been exceptional with the entire team demonstrating genuine commitment to customer care. The installation itself was flawless, smooth and with total respect for our property and all completed within 2 days. The panels, battery and gateway units are all high quality products and installed with attention to detail. An excellent Solar experience!
I used LET to install solar panels, battery, inverter and EV charger. Initially I was very impressed with Lewis in terms of providing a clear explanation and thorough review of our requirements, and then through installation the team were exceptional in consulting, describing what they were doing, and tidying up! We are delighted with the result and benefits we are already seeing. I recommend them if you want a good product at a sensible price with good people to deal with!

From the start of the process, talking to Paul, and watching various online video from Lewis, I understood clearly what I would be getting and a clear and reasonable price for the Solar equipment recommended by Paul. Right through to installation which was carried out carefully and tidily.

I now have an excellent system that gives me exactly what I requested and since installation I have already started to save an impressive amount of money due to not needing to draw hardly anything from the grid. The Sigenergy AI battery system is a dream to understand.

What really stands out about this company is their communication. They kept me updated every step of the way via Whats app, email, and phone calls. If any minor issues popped up, they were dealt with as soon as possible. It is rare to find a team this dedicated to customer satisfaction. Highly recommended!

Superb!

A fantastic installation, tidy, fuss free, good value and excellent customer service.

During the planning stage we were updated constantly to help us know what was happening, all staff involved were courteous and helpful. Information was explained, never rushed and there was time taken in person to ensure we got exactly what we wanted.

The install was swift, with nearly no disruption to our home. The attention to detail on wiring, presentation and care taken to remove all mess was outstanding.

I honestly believe this company is a standout installer and if I could I’d give them 6 stars.

After getting quotes from many companies for adding batteries to my existing solar system I went with LET. I found the explanations from Lewis clear and able to answer all my questions with no hard sell. Once I’d made the decision the communication was excellent, and on the day Marley and Mark did a fantastic job with installation, neat and tidy, exactly as described. Support afterwards has been great. Would highly recommend.

Outstanding Experience with Let Electrical

Let Renewables have been exceptional from the very beginning. I obtained a couple of quotes for solar and battery installation, but Let Renewables were the only company that took the time to visit my property, carry out a proper survey, and engage with me one‑to‑one. That alone set them apart.
From the ordering stage onwards, everything was clear, transparent, and upfront. All costs were explained in advance—no hidden extras, no surprises. I knew exactly what to expect and when invoices would be due, which gave me complete confidence throughout the process.

The admin support was equally impressive. Daisy kept in touch consistently, providing regular updates and patiently answering any questions or concerns I had along the way. Communication was seamless from start to finish.

Installation was booked promptly and everything ran exactly to schedule. Kieran and Marley handled the electrical and battery installation, and I honestly couldn’t fault their work. The finish was perfect—spotless, professional, and of an exceptional standard. Cable routes were discussed and agreed with me beforehand, the Sigenergy system was clearly explained, and all safety switches were properly labelled and walked through. It was reassuring, informative, and very well executed.

The roofing team who installed the panels were just as impressive—extremely neat, professional, and clearly proud of the quality of their work.
All in all, I can’t recommend Let Electrical highly enough. The team’s spirit, engagement, punctuality, pride in their workmanship, and—most importantly—the genuine care they show for their customers is second to none.

*Review of LET Renewables Solar installation.*
The process was a very slick operation from the start to the completion of the installation. It was only a few weeks between contacting LET Renewables for the first time to having the solar and battery setup finished.
I was impressed with the information and videos by LET shown online which explained the advantages and benefits of solar installations. Initially, Lewis replied to the query and then, with no pressure, offered to come and do a no-obligation, no-cost, drone survey and roof inspection and then come up with some proposals, dependant on our aims.
On the survey day Lewis arrived and we discussed some ideas before he got the drone up and checked the roof. We then sat down for a discussion about options and we came up with several proposals, at a number of price points, and with various types of hardware. These were provided as browsable proposals, showing the expected returns of each idea. Lewis left these with us to consider whether we wanted to proceed. In the next few days Lewis followed up to make sure we had everything we needed, but didn’t pressure or intrude on our thoughts. We were undecided whether to install panels on just the west side or both east and west. Eventually Lewis offered (for a small fee) to submit plans for the grid DNO application to find out how much we would be allowed to export to the grid. This was expected to take several weeks, but we had a reply a couple of days later with permission to export what we required for panels on both sides of the roof, so decided to go ahead with the full installation.
The equipment was ordered and the installation date booked with the scaffolding being erected the day before and dismantled a week later. The installation of the 32 panels, shared between the two sides of the roof, inverter, batteries, and home backup were all completed in 2 days. We also had a car charger installed at the same time. The 3 guys who completed this were friendly, tidy, knowledgeable and pleasant and communicated at each step of the way. Finally, all the components were tested and handed over with a clear explanation of how it all works. The app setup was also done and demonstrated. They worked hard and finished all the work in super-quick (but not hurried) time, ensuring everything was left neat and tidy. They even replaced some dodgy tiles as part of the service.
All the appointments were on time, well communicated and a pleasant experience. Their knowledge, professionalism and expertise were great.
We’ve eagerly monitored the operation of the system, and haven’t had to import any power from the grid for several days, even in February. We look forward to getting the final documentation so we can apply to our energy provider for the export tariff.
Overall, this has been a great experience and we are delighted we chose LET Renewables for our installation and would highly recommend them.
